Lisa Downey
Director of Operations
Lisa Downey is Director of Operations at Valen Private Capital, where she runs the firm’s operations, client service, onboarding, and custodial coordination. She is the primary point of contact for clients on account administration, transfers, paperwork, and the day-to-day mechanics of a wealth management relationship.
Lisa began her career in financial services in 1985 as a Financial Advisor at Dean Witter Reynolds in Syracuse, New York, and held Financial Advisor and Investment Associate roles over the following two decades at firms including Prudential Securities and Lehman Brothers before joining Merrill Lynch. She held Series 7, 63, and 65 registrations.
Most recently, Lisa spent more than a decade at Merrill Lynch as a Wealth Management Client Associate in the firm’s Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania office, supporting a team of Financial Advisors serving high-net-worth families. She brings to Valen a working knowledge of every operational dimension of a wealth management practice — from the advisor’s side of the desk and the client’s.
